Zero Tolerance Policy

A number of our staff have recently experienced foul and abusive language or behaviour from a minority of patients. This is not acceptable and we will not tolerate this sort of behaviour towards our staff – all of whom continue to work tirelessly during this pandemic. In line with our zero tolerance policy, if you are found to be abusive towards members of staff then appropriate action will be taken

Please be aware that it is not a GP’s responsibility to issue school letters of absence for your children, regarding COVID-19 or other illness. Government guidance is that school attendance is mandatory unless your child is self-isolating, has symptoms of COVID-19, is close to someone who has COVID-19 or has received a letter advising them to shield.

Ordering Medication

To order your medication, you can:

  • phone your nominated pharmacy and ask them to order on your behalf. Your local pharmacy may offer a home delivery service.
  • use the myGP app on a smart phone or tablet to request medication and collect from your nominated pharmacy or if available arrange delivery.
  • Alternatively, patients may post their prescription request in the post box at any of our sites and so avoid the need to come into the surgery. These will be checked regularly throughout the day.

If you have not already nominated a pharmacy, please phone the surgery and speak to one of our Reception Team to do so or visit your chosen pharmacy and ask them to sign you up for EPS prescriptions.  Please note doing this WILL NOT order your prescription – you will still need to choose one of the methods above.

We would also ask that you order your medication in plenty of time, and allow 4 working days for a prescription to arrive at your nominated pharmacy.
